Last night I finished my painting of Lauren. Of course, sitting in front of it every day might mean my tweaking things here and there. But all in all, I'm happy with the finished piece. Now, to get a good photo... since I don't think scanning this in 12 different sections sounds like a good idea. I might use this image for some self-promotional postcards, which I haven't updated since college. Yikes.
I can also post a book cover that I made for my sister in law's graduation, since the occasion has finally passed. It was for a soft cover journal, so that makes it both protectively functional AND fun! The Jill Bliss journal is cool too, with drawings of flowers creeping in from the corners, alternated with graph paper pages.
