I had to post this commission as soon as it was gifted, because I was so happy with the way that it turned out. A few years ago I did a painting of her older brother Griffin in a pumpkin patch, so it was fun to do something that reflected her personality and complimented the first piece. For the skirt, I painted over a floral fabric, which is something that I've missed doing since college. I think it suits the piece well with all the daisies, which just happen to be her mom's favorite flower! What a sweetie.
